TRP Sends Primary Care Residents to RHAT Conference

Seventeen medical residents, fellows, and students from ETSU and UT attended the RHAT conference as guests of The Rural Partnership, providing these new physicians with unique professional development and networking opportunites.  At TRP’s residents’ dinner, brief presentations were made by Dr. Joe Florence, Dr. Kim Howerton, Dr. Keith Ellis and Dr. Tom Townsend.  

The Rural Partnership hosted ETSU Rural Fellows, Dr. Meenu Singh and Dr. Justin Harrell, and ETSU medical students Blair Abelson and Katie Barger.   ETSU primary care residents in attendance include:  Dr. Monam Awan, Dr. Rabia Alvi, Dr. Rohini Nathan, Dr. Farshad Karimpour, Dr. John Daniel, Dr. Mihir Patel, Dr. Warit Jithpratuck, Dr. Kristin Freeman, Dr. Farida Meade, and Dr. Justin Moore.   From UT were Dr. James Tompkins, Dr. Bethany Wardlow, and Dr. Nicole Beall.
